In 1926, NORTHWEST AIRLINES began operating a small mail carrier business between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Chicago. Only a few years later they expanded and began servicing the northern tier of states offering access to popular vacation sites like Yellowstone National Park and the Pacific Northwest. It is the nations oldest airline with a record of continuous service!
